Update on our family!

We all had a great summer. Poor Eric had to work, but we had lots of time together early in the year. Are family is so blessed and we're looking forward to the new school year.

Eric has been in work meetings all last week. We're excited to find out that the investment part of the bank is breaking off from the bank. They still will work with the bank but not for the bank. This goes into effect in Jan. Eric will have so much more flexibility and will be able to focus on his clients investments and not have to worry about the banking stuff. Eventually he's hoping to open up his own office down the street. He also starts back to Sac State next week. He found out that he'll only need 30 credits for his masters in economics. I'm so proud of how hard he works for his family.

I'm taking 1 online class this semester. I'm enjoying the reading part of this english class. I'm spending most of the time playing with Marcus. When I'm not playing I'm working on our house. There's always a ton of stuff to do around here. I'm also helping with "yes on prop. 8" , doing phone calls or going door to door. Our family feels strongly about this passing! I'm also excited about our future travels. Next year is Europe, can't wait. Eric told me last night in two years we can spend 2 months in Mexico. That will be awesome!!! I better come back speaking Spanish.

Sariah started 2nd grade, and she's loving it. I'm very happy with her teachers teaching philosophy. She's very positive and focuses on each individual child's needs, so there's no competition and she makes every child feel successful. I feel strongly that children learn best when they have high self esteem. Sariah also started another soccer season. 3 days a week including every Sat. is soccer. She loves her team and her coach. I see this new confidence in her this year. I love to see her happy with herself.

Marcus also started Montessori school. He goes Mon. and Tue. mornings. He enjoys planning with the kids and learning. The teachers just love him there...no surprise:) We also are going to renew our zoo membership so the two of us can learn more about animals. I'm also looking into getting him involved in some music or sports group. They don't have much for two year old, but I'm looking.

The most exciting new is our new baby!!!!We're all counting down the days for our new baby to arrive. Any day now!!! We can't wait to add to our happy family. We are so grateful to our birth mom, she's our angels on earth. WE love her!

6 Flags Marine World!!!

Sariah and Maile did a reading program all summer. They read two books a day everyday, so they earned a trip to 6 flags. My friend Kendra and I brought 4 little girls and 2 teenagers with us. Everyone had a BLAST!!!

Soaked after the killer whale show! Sariah is not shy, she asked a family sitting in the front to please scoot over so she could sit in front to see the show. Funny girl!
Sariah loves the sharks.

Fun on the swings!

We love our Daddy!!
