What a year!

I can't believe it's been 3 years since I posted. I think FB is to blame. I want to start blogging again to follow friends and family and to use this as a journal of our family events. What a year! I'm excited for the new year to begin. I'm labeling it the year of healing 2014. There is so much to be thankful for in all trials, and I recognize the miracles in my life and I'm thankful. Sariah and I took on Katy Perry's "ROAR" as our song to help us be strong and carry on over these past months. We were knocked down but we got back up and we are fighters! It's amazing how one silly song can give strength. You can hear us ROAR over here. lol Healing 2014: A year of travel- This year is about fun with our family. We can't wait to see friends and family on our adventures. Eric and I are starting a little early. This December we will go to San Francisco for a couple nights and see our 49ers play for the last time at Candlestick Park. We love the city and the energy that it has. After Christmas the two of us are taking an adventure to Las Vegas for 3 days. We hope to see concerts and have some amazing food. Vegas is fun to the non-drinker-gambler too! January is Disneyland with Grandma and Grandpa Tillotson. Disneyland is always a fun adventure for us. April is Hawaii at the Disney Aluani hotel. We are excited because we have friends and family coming with us. Then in July we are headed to Germany to spend 3 weeks with Amy and Jeff. It's been so long since we have seen them, and we are so excited for them to show us around Europe. A year of fitness- So I have some weight that is clinging on me from my pregnancy. This year I plan on running 2-3 races, a couple half marathons and Ragnar again. I'm far from my 8.35 mile for 6+ miles, but I'm working on it. I hired a trainer to kick my butt back in shape. I love that I don't have to go to a gym to workout, I had a little anxiety going into a crowded gym. My weight goal is to lose 30 lbs, yes 30! My Birthday is in 6 weeks, I will be 36! My plan is to lose 12 lbs by my bday as a gift to myself. No dieting, just clean and healthy eating. Sugar is my weakness, I need to cut it out from my diet for as long as I can. A year of Christ- I plan on gaining a stronger testimony of my Savior this year. I have a goal to read the Book of Mormon daily this year along with praying on a regular basis. We do this as a family, but I need to read for myself. I'm looking for answers to which direction my life should lead. I feel peace most of the time, but I still have questions that are unanswered. I have a testimony of the temple and eternal families and will continue to go to that holy place. I'm excited for Sariah, she just got her temporary temple recommend. She's anxious to do baptisms. A year of service- I plan on doing more for others this year. I plan on continuing to work with Eric on fundraising for Lilliput Children's Services this year. I need to be prayerful on who I can help. A year of family- This year I plan on becoming closer to each of my children. I need to be more diligent in praying for each of them and their needs. I want to have an even closer bond with them. More TIME with each of them is the key to becoming closer. I need to let the dirty dishes go and just be with them. We need more games, reading, walks, snuggling and bike rides together. I'm so excited for this "healing" new year to begin!

Colombia

One of our favorite stops. Old town was beautiful.

Costa Rica

Costa Rica is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The rain forest was amazing. Sariah did her first zip line tour.

Panama

Church of the "Black Jesus" and a crazy monkey. The monkey knocked down Domi. Panama was a dirty country, trash everywhere.

Beautiful Butterfly

Oopsie! Domi ate a butterfly
